The "Eternal Package" is essentially this; it's ALL of your footage put together and given to you as a longer video.
My photography style incorporates a fly-on-the-wall documentary quality with some guided posing along the way. My editing style? Some may say “dark and moody”, but always making sure to achieve true-to-life skin tones that embrace dimensional shadows and rich colours.
Of course! I travel within 3-hours of London, Ontario. I do not capture destination weddings at this time.

Once you book your wedding with us, we will get your engagement session date on the calendar right away, as some couples want to use their engagement photos for the Save the Dates! Whether it’s spring, summer, or fall, I am up for whatever season you prefer! I will send your Engagement Session Planning Guide that gives ideas for locations, such as the beach, a forest, or maybe somewhere that’s sentimental to the two of you.
Yes of course! Your digital copies are yours forever to do what you want with them! There is the option of ordering prints directly from your online gallery, or you can choose your own print lab.
A first look is a personal decision for sure! Some pros? It can help free up space in your timeline. Getting your couples photos done before your ceremony will allow you to enjoy your cocktail hour with friends and family, help settle nerves for both of you, and it gives you a quiet moment with just the two of you to spend during the whirlwind of a day. Depending on the time of year and when the sun sets on your wedding date, sometimes doing a first look is necessary, for example, if the sun sets at 6:00 PM.
Some couples are totally against it and want to keep it the traditional way and that is totally fine! I can help give advice as far as utilizing your timeline best for either scenario.

Yes 100%! After you book your Ashlee Ellison wedding photography package, I will send you your Online Planning Guide, which includes sample timelines (with and without a first look!) It will give you examples of a typical timeline and know how much time is needed for each part of the day. I am always an email away to help if you are unsure of anything and once you send me your timeline, I almost always give feedback on ideas of how to get even more use of the time to maximize your day and have everything run as smooth as possible!
I think it’s important for your photographer to help with your timeline and wedding day schedule - there’s a lot of things that couples might not think about that needs time allotted for. Fun fact? I can write a timeline in my sleep! As you begin building yours, a pro tip is to work backwards from the ceremony time to figure everything out!
Depending on which package you choose, you are guaranteed a minimum of 800-2000 digital images (usually more!) This is because I don’t hold back images, I want you to have every image that makes the cut (minus blinking and blurry!) - this way, you'll be able to relive your day long down the road. I do this because I shoot and deliver exactly how I would want my photographer to do on my own wedding and capture alllll the details!
Yes, every image will be edited to match my style of editing that you see on my website and social media. You should expect around 10% of your final gallery to also include the black and white version.
While I was a Nikon girl for the first 5 years of my career, it had some limitations in terms of video quality. I have upgraded to Sony and am IN LOVE! The 4K video (shot in LOG footage for the best quality editing) is absolutely stunning!

01. consultation and booking
Upon inquiry, you’ll receive a package via email where we’ll share our services and links to view full engagement and wedding galleries, as well as a link to book a time for a Zoom or phone call so you can decide if we are the right fit for your day.
Based on your curated wedding photography package, I’ll prepare a services agreement and you’ll receive a link to sign the contract and pay your deposit to secure your date. You’ll receive a copy of our signature engagement session planning guide and wedding day planning guide to help you prepare for your day.
02. timeline preparation
Our mission is to make sure that your day is stress-free and runs smoothly. Having captured over 100 weddings over the past 5 years, we’ve learned a thing or two along the way. That’s why, as part of your experience, I’ll assist with your day-of-the-wedding timeline based on your bridal questionnaire to make sure we never miss a moment and capture all of your must-have images.
03. the day
We’ll capture the big moments and everything in between. From sipping mimosas while getting ready with your closest friends, exchanging your vows, to bouts of laughter during your best man’s speech and dancing the night away with your friends and family, our documentary-style will tell your story in an artful and creative way.
Throughout the day, I’ll follow your wedding day timeline and must-have image list, while capturing the unexpected moments and emotions to create the most beautiful story you’ll be able to treasure for generations.
04. delivery
The week following your wedding, you’ll be able to swoon over 30+ fully-edited wedding day highlights to hold you over until your final gallery of 1000-1500 images is ready!
