I was so honoured Brooke and Nicholas asked me to be their wedding photographer! They’ve been together since high school and chose a wedding date with deep significance – it was the day Nicholas asked Brooke to be his girlfriend back in high school! (I bet you just said a big “awwww” like I did when I heard that!)

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, they were determined to exchange vows in an intimate backyard wedding in London, Ontario. Their children were involved in every moment of the day – it was very special to see their kids witness first-hand their journey of being a couple to becoming man and wife. After Brooke and Nicholas said “I do”, we popped over to The Flats for some stunning wedding portraits from intimate and romantic to fun and celebratory – complete with champagne spray!

To complement the intimate atmosphere of their backyard wedding, Brooke and Nick infused personalized elements throughout the space – a memory station dedicated to loved ones, personal photos hung up on the fence, and a polaroid gust book. The heartfelt speeches delivered by their parents and grandparents added an emotional touch to the day. Their guests joined later in the evening – the day was a blast! So much so that Brooke spontaneously jumped in the pool while still wearing her wedding dress!
