A Cellar 52 Wedding | St. Jacob’s Photography and Videography

There are weddings where every detail feels like it’s been plucked straight from a fairytale, and Melanie and Nik’s special day was exactly that. Held at a stunning lakeside venue Cellar 52,  their wedding was a perfect reflection of their fun-loving personalities, with a backdrop as breathtaking as the love they share.

From the moment I met Melanie and Nik at their engagement session, I knew their wedding would be one to remember. Their infectious sense of humor and easygoing nature set the tone for the day.  These two truly know how to have a good time, and their wedding was a celebration of joy, love, and a few surprises along the way.

One of the most memorable moments was during the vows. Melanie, with a twinkle in her eye, took a moment to give a shout-out to Nik’s best man. Not just any best man, but hockey player for the New Jersey Devil’s- Dougie Hamilton! She humorously admitted that she’s a die-hard fan of any team he plays for, bringing a burst of laughter from their guests- Sorry Dad!

Their furry family member, their dog Gordie, was also an important part of the day.

Melanie and Nik’s wedding was more than just an event—it was a celebration of who they are as a couple. From the laughter to the heartfelt moments, personalized gifts to their parent’s, to the presence of their dog, every detail was a testament to their unique and beautiful bond.
